Let’s fund out

Information event on EU funding in the art and cultural sector

Let’s fund out: Together with the Austrian Federal Chancellery we welcomed a great number of interested guests from the art and creative sector at Villa Müller in Feldkirch. We presented the two funding programmes Creative Europe and Europe for Citizens in great detail, elaborated on example cases and discussed general funding possibilities.

About 40 interested artists and cultural workers from all around Lake Constance took part in our information event. Bettina Steindl, Dornbirn plus, and Verena Burtscher, Villa Müller, greeted the guests and started off the morning.

Elisabeth Pacher and Stefanie Brunmayr from the Austrian Federal Chancellery presented the EU funding programmes Creative Europe and Europe for Citizens. The presentations were accompanied by practical input and experiences. Liz Kim reported on the two projects Dancing Museums and Migrant Bodies - Moving Borders. Anisa Hasanhodžić and Rifet Rustemović presented their project Being refugee: a European narrative. Bettina Steindl then invited the guests to a salon conversation. In a cosy atmosphere, participants enjoyed the chance to ask many questions and receive elaborate answers, discuss ideas and create new networks. As a final treat, Verena Burtscher took the participants on a tour 'behind the scenes' of Villa Müller.
